Boy's Room Continued

Here is another canvas design for a boy's room.

 

 The airplane was made from scratch in photoshop. I am proud of it and like the butterfly it took a few hours over a few days to create. I am currently working on a car and boat canvas. 

Might need to spend some time making girl designs soon since I have quite a few boy options.

This is the same Kylan that was in an earlier entry with the Hungry Caterpillar.

This was a 10 x 10 canvas for her room.

Lydia is my beautiful niece. We decided to make hers large to hang over the head of her bed. Her room has a lot of pink in it, her favorite color.

This Dr Suess quote is one of my favorites.

I am proud of the butterfly because I created it myself. I spent a lot more time creating it than it looks. I am sure someone more familiar with the programs could have created it very quickly, but spending the time creating it from scratch helped me learn a lot about the program.

I gave this to my dear friend Sherry right before she left for Japan with her family. Her husband is in the Navy. She is a very close friend and I miss all the time we were able to spend together. At church we worked in the nursery together every week. Sundays are not the same without her and her family.

This was for my sweet friend Ashley. I love her! She is a great friend I met at UNCW. We have been close friends for a long time. She is beautiful in and out and her family means so much to me.

Uncle Russ and Aunt Melisa

My Uncle Russ is a romantic and on his wedding day he sang "Lady" to my Aunt Melisa. For their anniversary my family printed a canvas with the lyrics and a picture of them.
 

This was a fun project to work on for me because I love them so much!

Dexter's First Birthday

 We chose Dexter's favorite thing, cars, as the theme for his 1st Birthday. His first word was not mama or dada, it was "car". I already posted 2 banners from the party, and I created the invite below. Plus I made his birthday cake!

I enjoyed making the cake, but I like computer design better. I like the freedom to edit and that is hard to do on a cake.

A Belated 2010 Pastor Appreciation Gift

In October churches celebrate pastor appreciation. In 2010 I began working on personalized canvases for 2 wonderful pastors, Jeff Kapusta and Daryl Strickland. I did not feel they were ready to print, so I decided to wait until Christmas 2010. Still not ready because I was unsure of colors, and a little insecure. Then pastor appreciation 2011 made me begin working on them again. Missed that and tried for Christmas 2011. Printed before Christmas, but I did not get it to them in time. I dropped them off today, January 10th, 2012.

Kylan's First Birthday

My good friend Briana asked me to help provide some prints for her daughter, Kylan's 1st birthday. Kylan's theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Super cute idea!

I created tent food labels, stickers for goodie bag, stickers for cup, and my favorite candy bar wrappers.

     

Kaden's Birthday Party

Kaden celebrated her 4th birthday this year with a FRESH BEAT BAND theme. Her mom, Hadley asked if I could print a few things for the party. I printed stickers to put on cups, stickers for goodie bags, a poster, and a VIP pass for the kids to wear and take home.

Where to begin...

I have been playing around with design for over a year. To begin I will post my most recent projects and work backwards. I designed my own Christmas card for the second year. The photo of Dexter on the card was taken by me in my front yard. It turned out to be an awesome picture, but I am his mom so I think every picture of him is wonderful.

Also this year I did Hadley's family Christmas card. She found a card she liked online and I made something very similar. Her photos were done professionally at the beach and they were amazing. Here is her card.

I enjoy spending the time working on designs. I will continue to post designs from this past year, and this upcoming year I hope to have even more projects to share.
