My design work is in Haiti

My best friend, Hadley, lives in Haiti and wanted to decorate her house with some canvases and asked me to create them for her. 

I am not sure where Hadley heard this quote "Laugh when you can, apologize when you should & let go of what you can't change."

I LOVE IT! 

I love this quote "Read me a story, tuck me in tight, say a sweet prayer & kiss me goodnight"

I have a the same quote with a different design in my son's room. 

Hadley found this idea and chose the colors that would look best in her bathroom.

The best way to ship them was off the boards and she did an amazing job of putting them on the stretcher boards herself. Hadley sent me photos of the canvases complete. 

I can not believe it was her first time stapling to the bars. 

Fruit of the Spirit Canvases

Today I gave 3 beautiful women, at First Baptist Church Preschool, gifts for my appreciation for all that they have done. I am so thankful Dexter has been a part of FBCPreschool. He has been blessed with wonderful Christian women that have loved him and taught him so much. It is going to be sad not to see them every day. 

The gifts I gave were canvases that I designed and printed, shown below.

Happy Valentine's Day

Dex loves the Lego Movie! He wanted to hand out Lego Movie Valentine Cards to his friends, I wanted to be creative, and this is what we have. I did 2 different cards The first is horizontal and tried to look like the front of a lego set box. The second one is really simple but I loved it too, so he will give out both.

After seeing Dexter's cute Valentines card, my brother asked if I could do cards for my nephew and niece who also like the lego movie. 

Of course I will! I love them and I love to create so here are the finished products.

I am in the process of adding my designs to etsy. I have had a few people ask for the Fresh Beat Band party designs so I decided to start with those. I hope to have a lot more soon!

First Time Selling at Event

Silver Lake Baptist Church had an all day event this past weekend and I was there as a vendor selling my prints.

I had a great time! I would love the opportunity to sell the rest of my prints somewhere.

If anyone knows of an event or place in Wilmington, please let me know.
