First Time Selling at Event

Silver Lake Baptist Church had an all day event this past weekend and I was there as a vendor selling my prints.

I had a great time! I would love the opportunity to sell the rest of my prints somewhere.
If anyone knows of an event or place in Wilmington, please let me know.

Mess for Memories

Here are 2 canvases, one is personalized.
I have the one with Dexter's name with my favorite color hanging in my playroom.

Kaden the Rock Star

Hadley asked me to design a canvas for Kaden's room.
Hadley is a great friend and an amazing encourager to me. Her advice and support really helped me get started working on design and still helps me continue to improve.

Camille's gift

Camille asked me to design a canvas to give as a gift to her nephew. Their family loves the Brewers baseball team. I am so happy that she thought of me when she needed to have a gift.

Faith's Projects

My lovely friend Faith has given me a few projects over the past few months! Her requests help give me more confidence in my design ability and motivate me to design more.
Thanks Faith!!

Lindsey's Shower

My beautiful cousin, Lindsey, is having a baby in May! We had a shower for her a few weeks ago and I was able to create the invitations. I used the same image to create a poster and a candy wrapper. The candy wrappers fit on a small, snack size hershey. crunch or twix bar. I took photos and I will post them soon.

Star Wars continued

I posted the invites to this party earlier, but never added the candy wrappers or thank you cards. The candy wrappers fit a Hershey Bar. Noah looks so cute in his star wars outfit.

Easter

A sweet friend of mine planned an Easter Celebration for her neighborhood and asked me to do the invites! Then she asked me to do a banner. I hope to add some actual photos from the event later.

Valentine's Candy Wrapper

Photos of the Valentines's wrappers I designed on Hershey bars (large and small)

The larger bars are nice because they have room for more information.

I have to add a thank you to Jen Griffin for the photo lesson. The tips she gave me really helped! Jen is an amazing photographer and she also creates amazing bags. Check out her blog: http://fotojenikyou.blogspot.com/

Star Wars

A friend asked me to create an invitation for her son's birthday.
He LOVES Star Wars and the party will take place at a bowling alley.

Print is Beautiful

I have created a few things for my parents' business in the past.

This was an insert we mailed to our customers.

This was a large banner that was placed on the side of the building

Boy's Room Continued

Here is another canvas design for a boy's room.

The airplane was made from scratch in photoshop. I am proud of it and like the butterfly it took a few hours over a few days to create. I am currently working on a car and boat canvas.
Might need to spend some time making girl designs soon since I have quite a few boy options.

Boy's Room

These are some canvas designs that have yet to be printed.
I really love Dr.Seuss!

UNC vs NC State
The carolina blue one looks a lot better in my opinion.

Girl's Room

This is the same Kylan that was in an earlier entry with the Hungry Caterpillar.
This was a 10 x 10 canvas for her room.

Lydia is my beautiful niece. We decided to make hers large to hang over the head of her bed. Her room has a lot of pink in it, her favorite color.

This Dr Suess quote is one of my favorites.
I am proud of the butterfly because I created it myself. I spent a lot more time creating it than it looks. I am sure someone more familiar with the programs could have created it very quickly, but spending the time creating it from scratch helped me learn a lot about the program.

Friends

These canvases are similar to ones in an earlier post

I gave this to my dear friend Sherry right before she left for Japan with her family. Her husband is in the Navy. She is a very close friend and I miss all the time we were able to spend together. At church we worked in the nursery together every week. Sundays are not the same without her and her family.

This was for my sweet friend Ashley. I love her! She is a great friend I met at UNCW. We have been close friends for a long time. She is beautiful in and out and her family means so much to me.

Happy Birthday Aunt Melisa!

Here are 2 magnets I made for my Aunt Melisa's Birthday which was yesterday, Jan 22.
They are printed on a thin magnet paper. I made them 4 x 4 inches.

She likes this quote from The Help and I added a few more lines.

Dexter Birth Info

This canvas is hanging in Dexter's room and was one of the first ones I created.

Uncle Russ and Aunt Melisa

My Uncle Russ is a romantic and on his wedding day he sang "Lady" to my Aunt Melisa. For their anniversary my family printed a canvas with the lyrics and a picture of them.

This was a fun project to work on for me because I love them so much!

Happy Birthday to my Aunt Melisa this Sunday!

Dexter's First Birthday

We chose Dexter's favorite thing, cars, as the theme for his 1st Birthday. His first word was not mama or dada, it was "car". I already posted 2 banners from the party, and I created the invite below. Plus I made his birthday cake!

I enjoyed making the cake, but I like computer design better. I like the freedom to edit and that is hard to do on a cake.

Banners

I have also had the pleasure of creating banners for friends and family special events.
.

Here is a banner for a 20th reunion.
I created this banner for my sister-in-law, Caroline.

This one is for my friend's mom.
She retired a couple of months ago. Congrats to her!!

I can do birthday banners or posters!
Two banners were hung at my son's first birthday party.

I couldn't decide on one photo for this banner
so I had a bunch from his fist year!

Let me know if you have a special event and you need a poster or banner to be created!
